The Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation raises funds to support the educational programs of the museum.
- The Flying Bus Program pays the transportation and admission costs for students at Title I schools in the Albuquerque Public Schools system to visit and tour the Museum and learn the history and science of Lighter Than Air Flight.
- The Stories In The Sky Program is the weekly, award winning story time geared to preschoolers but open to all ages. Music, movement and crafts engage children in education and science
- The Science In The Sky Program is a quarterly program geared toward elementary and middle schoolers and expands both the Flying Bus and Stories In The Sky programs by promoting planned school tours for special, entertaining educational programs with guest speakers and STEM demonstrations.
- Albuquerque Balloon Museum guided tours are available upon request for students who would enjoy exploring the history of ballooning on a School Field Trip.
